Big update here.
I've noticed a lot of people having issues with the previous battle system, so along with changes to that, I've added a few additional visual and mechanical changes. I'm working on a much bigger update than this, but for now this should fix several issues and bugs. It's changed a bit since the last public release.
Changelog
- Full overhaul to the basic battle system, and game balance
- ATB style battle system with the removal of the mini-games
- Rebalanced to accommodate for the new battle system
- Resized battle sprites
- New abilities
- Fixed collision spawn errors in Kalm
- Fixed spawning on the roof in an inn room
- Fixed item collision on ground
- Minor changes to Falconworth and Kalm maps
- Changed spawn point after cave
- Made it so that player enters Kalm directly from the cave.
- Removes access to the cave from the outskirts
- Fixed dialog overflow issues for NPCs in Kalm
- Fixed the bug in Falconworth that prevents the player from leaving a specific map
- Added new scene
- Signs for added direction through the towns
This update seeks to bring more stability and balance to the overall experience, and make it more bearable to play.
These changes are the first of several overhauls I'll be making to the game. There will be more minor updates in the near future, but no updates nearly this large until the next big overhaul.
